Throne For A Loop
A great American family ... like the Kennedys or the Dunphys, or Simpsons.

There is no denying that Walker is active. I am constantly chasing him and telling him no to things. But with three or more kids here on a regular basis he may get away with a few things. This photo is definitely proof of that.
On this day I was taking one baby up to bed, and another was using the bathroom. Although he is potty trained he isn't quite big enough to close our old doors, so the bathroom door got left open. When I came downstairs I asked where Walker had gone, but I couldn't see him and even worse I couldn't hear him. So I started searching for him and I quickly heard him laughing in the bathroom, I knew it was going to be something. When I first walked in he was sitting on the seat of the toilet pulling tissues out of the box and throwing them, but as soon as he saw me he stood up and as proud as could be yelled "ta da." I am just glad that I remembered to take a photo before cleaning him up and freaking out about him possibly drinking out of the toilet!

Bob the Builder ... look out
Kelsey and I were working on hanging a photo in our dining room when I looked down and saw Walker playing with the tape measure. I didn't think much of it until he started copying what we were doing. Now, if we can only get him to watch me mow the grass ...

Elli and Walker
These two are the best of friends. They both keep me laughing everyday.
I missed the opportunity on the video and got the camera out late, but they are still pretty cute. Walker was pretending to feed Elli.

Emo baby?
Here's what happens when you don't closely monitor your little guy ...
You'll find this hard to believe, but Walker likes to get into things.
Today, he found a bunch of markers.
In particular, he found a BLACK marker.
And to be more specifc, he got the top of the black marker off and put in his mouth -- as babies are often known to do.
Here, ladies and gentlemen, is the aftermath:
Really, I wasn't supposed to that? Really? |
Pondering what he's done, no doubt. |

Big day for an awesome kid
Liza turns 10 years old today. She got her name on the marquee at the gas station near her school. That's heady stuff for a little girl. Happy birthday, sweet girl!
